Our Season of "Societal Distortion"
Shit Men Have Said, a collaborative production
FEBRUARY 2016: Shit Men Have Said to Me: Tales of how Men and Women Communicate is a devised piece about the ways in which men and women interrelate. The work blends together the thoughts and interactions confronting societal realities—from catcalling to slut shaming, and everything in between, it is a piece about “what is” as well as “what has been” in the lives of women and men. JUNE 2016: Shit Men Have Said or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Patriarchy examines ingrained societal gender roles while shining a light on the consequences of staying in the status quo. We want to foster societal discourse through audience participation before, during and after the performance. This devised show is set as a series of audience interactive vignettes which examine what was, what is and what can be in our society regarding gender. |

In The Terminus
In the Terminus was a workshop performance as part of the 2015 Philadelphia SoLow Fest, June 2015
In the Terminus explores the nebulous towards the totality of death. What do we try to take with us? What inevitably is stripped from us? And what meets us through the light at the “end of the tunnel. (Much of the text in performance stems from “Character B” in Mark O’Rowe’s Terminus.)" -Lisa Fischel
