Community/Corporate

Picture
ReVamp Collective is interested in taking theatre out of the traditional theatre space and connecting more with the community.

Our Community/Corporate Mission is to work with companies and businesses to provide a unique experience for guests and clients with costumed in character actors. We work with companies, businesses, universities, and non-profit groups to provide tailored team building workshops and theatre-based Education.

ReVamp Collective is open to working with your group to provide tailored needs through the theatrical art.

Please email revampcollective@gmail.com with inquiries regarding workshops, team building, in character costumed actors, or other community/corporate interests.

Workshops

"Create the Life You Deserve & Desire,"
  • Designed for 4-6 people focusing on shaping the life you want through physical discoveries and kinesthetic creation. This workshop will culminate in original text created through movement and personal exploration. This intense workshop is a combination of self-analysis through physicality, self-discovery through ensemble creation and working to activate your own personal life goals.
"Devising with Viewpoints & Grotowski"
  • Designed for 12-20 people, this workshop provides participants with movement-based methods that can help build life skills. By learning kinesthetic response, we can be honest with ourselves and in our relationships, as ell as react honestly to the moment as a theatre artist and as a person. By learning to create your own work while focusing on social change, an artist earns the ability to stand on their own two feet.
"Collaborate Through Movement"
  • Designed for 12+ people, this workshop is a team-building movement workshop. By using a combination of movement based techniques (Viewpoints, Laban, and general movement) along with improvisational exercises, the group begins to develop trust, communication, as well as a great sense of ensemble or team work.
"Our student leaders at Moore College were given the opportunity to transform their visual minds into physical movement---and they loved it! Through a series of theater and movement exercises,  conducted by ReVamp Collective and Theatrical Trainer, I saw normally shy and reserved students come out of their shell and express themselves in ways that they normally do not have the opportunity to show to others.  ReVamp and Theatrical Trainer created a safe space in which the student leaders could experiment and work as a team. The variation of exercises opened their minds to different methods of communication. In fact, I think ReVamp helped the students think about communication and how they can become more effective communicators in their lives and  within their on-campus roles."
-Slade Roff, Student Services Coordinator, Moore College

In Character Costumed Actors

On July 16, 2015, ReVamp Collective worked with Philadelphia Style Magazine to provide themed costumed characters for their annual Best of Style event at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. The Alice in Wonderland-themed event, aptly named "Style in Wonderland," featured an in character roaming Mad Hatter and two playing card guards.

ReVamp will be working with Philadelphia Style once again this year on this event. Look out for the Best of Style and ReVamp Collective's roaming characters in July at the Kimmel Center.
